Again and again, even in the case of essential medicines such as antibiotics, there are bottlenecks. What impact do they have on supply? Would it be possible to produce more antibiotics in Germany in future times in order to make supplies more secure? The film, which we produced for the association "Pro Generika e. V." tries to find answers.
For 10 years, there have been biosimilars in Germany. How did the biosimilars prove their worth in health care? Time for a study commissioned by the Pro Biosimilars Working Group, which was presented at a symposium in September 2016. Basiliscus Production produced the opening film for the symposium.

Tania Witte has written a new book: „Leben nebenbei“. For the trailer of the book we walked with the author through her district Berlin - Neukoelln. We also shot at a rooftop to have Tania and our wonderful city in the background! Tania had to overcome her fear of heights. She did it!
The annual conference 2015 of the European Generic Association - EGA, takes place in Berlin! Basiliscus Film produced the invitation and conference film!
The film for the Pro Generika e.V. organisation screened in June at their 10th anniversary focuses on the role of generic medicaments in our health system. It identifies the importance of Generics recognised in the pharmaceutical supply and concerning their low prices. For the film we also worked with the 87 years old Johanna Penski, the oldest german extra.
In September 2015 the AG Pro Biosimilars held their opening symposium at the Radialsystem in Berlin. The film crew of Basiliscus Film has accompanied the event and collected some opinions of business leaders, doctors and politicians on the topic of biosimilars.
